The Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) is committed to ensure the growth of human resources for health by leading the advancement of medical professions to ensure excellence in healthcare. The OMSB is focused on training the physicians (medical residents and fellows) on the best and advanced technologies to prepare them in improving the healthcare and patient satisfaction. One of the Human Resource Development tools applied in our organization is Tebyan, the National E-learning Platform for Health, which was one of the strategic projects that was launched last year and can be accessed here: https://e-learning.omsb.gov.om/ On 4th of November 2020, the platform was launched officially under the patronage of H.E. Dr Ahmed Al Saidi, the minister of health. The name of the platform was announced to be (Tebyan), the National E-learning Platform for Health. The project targeted initially the trainees (medical residents and fellows) but before launching we realized the emerging needs of e-learning platform for all healthcare workers in Oman. Therefore, it was extended to cover this segment.
